Choice Architecture

Richard Thaler won a Nobel Prize in Economics for his concept of the " Nudge. " The core idea is simple: you can't force people to make good choices (like banning junk food), but you can design the environment so that the better choice is the easiest one to make.

The most famous example? The fake flies etched into the urinals at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. No signs yelling " Don't make a mess. " Just an instinctive target to aim for. Spillage dropped by 80%.

In the digital world, this is called Choice Architecture.
